Escrow is the reason a stranger ships to you first. On Nexus it is 2 of 3 multisig, so no single party can move your money alone.
The multisig hold
Your payment sits in an address that needs two of three keys, held by you, the vendor and the market. Nobody can take it alone.
Disputes
If a package never lands or arrives wrong, open a dispute instead of confirming. The market key breaks the tie and staff weigh the vendor record.
Never finalize early
Releasing before the goods arrive hands over your coin and removes the dispute path. Never do it on a vendor you have not tested.
